Sasoreenu
These scorpion droids like to hide under the sands and emerge when their prey gets near, usually unsuspecting. They recieve no damage while drilling in and out of the sands and charge full speed through the binding sediments, once revealed, towards their victims to sting them. Originally "created to capture poisonous scorpions", which is why "it's modeled after a scorpion itself[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
Stay in motion in the quick sand and carefully proceed forward. As soon as the tail pops up from the sands, prepare to fire or, if you are speeding, jump over the Sasoreenu. If you are going to fire, I recommend charging a shot ahead of time.

Haehaey
This has to be the most frustrating enemy in this stage. Due to the quicksand surrounding the area we encounter Haehaeys, we can't reach them since they are flying high above (unless we use Rush Coil or happen to get high enough to shoot them). "Originally created as a robot in the guise of a fly to capture poisonous scorpions[2]." Haehaey drops shots from above so be prepare to dodge!

TO DEFEAT:
Unless we have acquired special weapons from other Robot Masters at this point or use Rush Coil, we will have to dodge the bullets Haehaey drops in our path. Beware of the Sasoreenu that attack below and the quick sand that is slowly swallowing up our Blue Bomber!

Bug Copter
These little critters swarm us if not destroyed and keep moving forward in the level, so make sure to eliminate them one at a time, if possible, unless we screen wipe. Be careful jumping over them when they still have the propeller attached because it releases up and can damage above target! Once they lose the propeller, they "fly toward you in an erratic pattern.[1]"

TO DEFEAT:
Charge up your Mega Buster and unleash on them as soon as they are in range. Don't miss...

Battonton
Enemy is not present in Mega Man IV (Game Boy version of the level).
These bats have followed Mega Man through many games as of yet. The same battle tactics as previous games at this point and an annoying enemy in a tight spot!
TO DEFEAT:
Get close to their hanging position and wait til they start flying to destroy. Make sure the shot is possible to line up first or we will have to dodge.

Mummira
These robotic sarcophagus escapees love to appear from trap doors located throughout the tomb. When they appear, they unravel their heads and launch them at us. When they go back in the door, they reappear with another head! Originally "created to explore pyramids[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
When they appear on the scene, be ready to fire. If the shots aren't lined up prepare to dodge their heads! The direction of the head they launch is determined by our position and it has nasty accuracy since the projectile is bigger then most shots. Charged shots are welcome to make them fall faster since there is not a whole lot of space to dodge in the area we face them.

Hover
Enemy is not present in Mega Man IV (Game Boy version of the level).
Technically, Hovers are platforms that shoot bullets on either side of themselves until stepped on to be used for transportation through the spike filled rooms in Pharoah Man's stage. Originally "created for low altitude transport over seas and rivers[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
Dodge Hover's shots and jump on top of them to to cross pits of spikes and cease their fire. Make sure to jump off of them before they fall from a large height!

Pharaoh Man - DWN 028 or DCN 28
Playing the role of an Egyptian God and "his face...made in the guise of Tutankhamen's burial mask to assist in warding of curses[2]", Pharaoh Man was originally created to search ancient tombs so he has "high resistance and agility to avoid traps...[as well as]...very sensitive eyes to be able to see in dark places...[making]...him weak to strong lights. His main weapon is the Pharaoh Shot, a thermal sphere that can be charged with solar energy[1]." Originally designed by Takayuki Ebara.

TO DEFEAT:
When the battle starts, Pharaoh Man will most likely jump charge to us. It is at this point he will throw a small Pharaoh Shot at our location. Manage to dodge that and prepare for the charged Pharaoh Shot which is the moment we need to attack the heaviest. Get the timing down when he fires the shot and jump as he unleashes it. Continue this pattern and Pharaoh Man will fall fast.
