Garyoby
The consistent ocurring, almost invincible buzz saw enemy that, while on a separate platform of our hero, will move back and forth along the surface nice and slow. This is quite decieving, since once a foot is placed on that particular surface, Garyoby will speed up dramatically in whatever direction it is originally going to try and hit the trespasser! The saw "can cut through anything[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
Unless you have a special weapon, they are undefeatable with just the regular blaster. Recommend dodging by jump-walking across the platform they are positioned on (jump-walking is where you jump your way across a floor, since walking will make Garyoby move fastest).

Gyotot
This fish bot is in no way shy. As soon as enemy/victim is in range, far above the water's surface, Gyotot will jump high to attack with its body. Gyotot was orginally created to be an "underwater security robot...to protect areas where fishing is prohibited[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
When you see one approaching, if you are above get close and destroy once it is in range after jumping up or, if you are in the water, shoot them as soon as they are in sight. Tread careful forward if traveling over or in waters that contain Gyotot.

Metall Swim
The scuba Met that can, due to water surroundings, jumps high making them potentially more of an obstacle then other Mets. Luckily, becuase they pose a larger hindrance, they also expose themselves longer than most mets, making them easier targets to hit. Originally "designed to monitor underwater operations[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
Get close and shoot once they expose themselves to attack.

M-422A
The explorer bot made for deep sea journeys. "It's built to resemble a jellyfish so as not to frighten off other fish...[and]...it bobs up and down in water to impede intruders[2]." Unlike most enemies, M-422A IS invincible, so be prepared to dodge them.

TO DEFEAT:
Dodge by getting close, backing off for the attack and then pass as they go back up.

Moby
The Moby Dick of the robotic world. Moby's original purpose was for fishing where he would inhale schools of fish and has now been adjusted for underwater battles. Now "it fires guided missiles and small sea mines[2]." Moby is considered the mini-boss of Dive Man's stage since he gets his own area to battle.

TO DEFEAT:
Unleash an explosive attack right from the start of the fight for the fastest results! Moby takes a beating, so be prepared to dodge his missiles and mines. To dodge the missiles, it is all about timing and position of the hero when the missile is launched. This is due to it's homing capabilities. And to avoid the mines, we must position ourselves between them as they fall and continue to run in the opposing direction of Moby's suction. That's right, Moby's suction will be trying to pull us towards the spike pit beneath him while the mines are decending! Keep the lead flying and he'll fall fast.

Jumbig
These big guys take a few hits. They will try to jump to your position causing massive damage if they hit. Jumbig was originally "created to press materials...modified...for battle" with the addition of "spikes to its pressing platform[2]."

TO DEFEAT:
KEEP YOUR DISTANCE! When he jumps, go under him or keep moving in the opposite direction and unleash some shots on him after a successful dodge. Shoot him as much as possible before he jumps the first time for the swiftest defeat.

Mantan
These electronic Manta Rays move towards their target, adjusting their path slightly but still moving forward to attack by running into victim. "It was originally made for underwater cleaning tasks[2]."

TO DEFEAT:

Sea Mine
Even in the real world, sea mines exist and they are no different here. If we get close, they will begin their destruction sequence indicated by flashing. Take this time to get some distance or progress forward quickly. Seamines are immune to all attacks, so making them blow up is the only way to "defeat" these bombs.

TO DEFEAT:
Get close and when they start flashing back up a little or push forward

Dive Man - DWN(Doctor Wily Number) 031 or DCN(Doctor Cossack Number) 31
The Submarine Robot Master that was originally created for deep sea exploration by Dr. Cossack. Later, Dr. Wily modified him to be able to use homing torpedos known as Dive Missiles and, as a flaw in programming, the ability to lauch himself forward spinning like a torpedo[2]! Dive Man supposedly gets motion sickness from this attack[1] and dislikes Pirate Man since he represents the honor of the Navy where as Pirate Man represents the theives of the sea[2].

TO DEFEAT:
Dive Man is quite a challenge due to his homing missles and spontanious attack pattern. To end this battle quickly, focus on shooting him (assuming that you are not using his weakness or any other special weapons) as much as possible. When he does his torpedo attack, be prepared to jump or remain still (action is based on how far he lauches the attack, sometimes it is your locatio and others it is near your location). I would advise that once the missles begin to home in on us, that we focus on dodging while firing in Dive Man's direction (most shots should hit since he is tall and has no shield). Keep this up and he will fall shortly (this battle may take longer than most if we must dodge multiple missles or fail to multitask).
